day 2 and day 3

Assalamualaikum,
forgive me because i forgot to jot down one hadith yesterday,my bad :'(
but for today i will make it two as the replacement for yesterday.

day 2 : purification of the heart

6th Hadith of An-Nawawi's Forthy Hadiths

On the authority of Al-Numan bin Basheer, who said : I heared the messenger of Allah say :

"That which is lawful is plain and that which is unlawful is plain and between the two of them are doubtful matters about which not many people know. Thus he who avoids doubtful matters clears himself in regard to his religion and his honor, but he who falls into doubtful matters falls into that which is unlawful, like the shepherd who pastures around a sanctuary, all but grazing therein. Truly every king has a sanctuary, and truly Allah's sanctuary is His prohibitions. Truly in the body there is a morsel of flesh which, if it be whole, all the body is whole and which, if it be diseased, all of it is diseased. Truly it is the heart."

(Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim)

There are doubtful matters that a Muslim might face in his/her everyday dealings and activities. This hadith helps the Muslim in dealing with such matters. There is an early ongoing preparation which is needed in such a case - to purify one's heart.

There are some actions that can help us achieve this task, like: hayya' (modesty), murakabah (self reckoning), muhasabah (self accountability), dzikr (remembrance of Allah), and as-Salatu 'ala an-Nabi, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam. These are things that, insha Allah, can help us and enlighten and purify our heart, and also help us to identify and avoid the doubtful matters - this is the main point, the key, the principle of the hadith.

"Truly in the body there is a morsel of flesh which, if it be whole, all the body is whole and which, if it be diseased, all of it is diseased. Truly it is the heart."

including the elaborations :')

day 3: being pure( at-tayyib)

Abu Hurairah, radiyallahu 'anhu, reported that the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, said:
“Verily Allah the Exalted is pure. He does not accept but that which is pure. Allah commands the believers with what He commanded the Messengers. Allah the Almighty has said: "O you Messengers! Eat of the good things and act righteously" [23:51-53]. And Allah the Almighty also said: "O you who believe! Eat of the good things that We have provided you with" [2:167-172].
Then he (the Prophet) mentioned (the case of) the man who, having journeyed far, is dishevelled and dusty and who stretches out his hands to the sky (saying): "O Lord! O Lord!" (while) his food was unlawful, his drink was unlawful, his clothing was unlawful, and he is nourished with unlawful things, so how can he be answered?”
[Muslim]

10th hadith of An-Nawawi's Forty Hadith

The term "Verily Allah the Exalted is pure" means Allah has all the attributes of perfection and completeness, free from any kind of shortcomings, weaknesses or needs.

everything that we consume and gain must be lawful(halal), lawful is the key for acceptance of our deeds by Allah.Travelling is one of the occasions when du’a is accepted by Allah. Other occasions mentioned by other hadiths are as follows: during travelling, sickness, prostration, rainfall and during the last third of the night. These chances need to be observed so as not to be missed by the people going through these occasions.Being humble in the du’a.To raise the hands towards the sky.

“Allah is pure and only accepts what is pure”. Wealth that is obtained from unlawful sources should not be given as sadaqah or used in performing any form of worship like performing the Haj. An example is when a person steals money and uses it to perform the Haj. In this context, Ibn Abbas said: “Filth does not expiate filth”.

a hadith a day

Assalamualaikum,

i'm just did blogwaking, and i am attracted to this kind of activity which is a hadith a day.
yes, why not we added our activity by a hadith a day, after a juzuk a day.cool ayte? at least we can cleanse our soul and heart, improve knowledge and better understanding in our religion.
the more you know the more you understand and the more you practice.

everything that we gain should be practice so that it can make us to be better. :)

okay let's start.

hurm, yesterday i have chosen a hadith remember? if not, please refer to my previous post.tee hee

now, here we go!

"Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded." [Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 2, Number 38]- via Hadith of The Day in Facebook

from this hadith- everything in Islam is a guidance for our life, don't take it as a burden but take it as your guidance even in a very tiny matters. especially for the girls, don't think  hijab as a burden for you but it is actually is our protection indeed. Allah shows His love towards His servant by many ways, just follow all the guidance, if you're not able to do all, but at least try try and try until we reach the perfections.yes, nobody is perfect and people do makes mistakes, there is the reason for taubah. taubah- to cleanse our heart, reflects ourselves to be better.

Put Islam as your way of life, InsyaAllah everything become ease and smooth. Allah will always help His servants who keeps their faith and believing towards Him. :)

let's turn into a better muslim and take the chance to gain Allah's blessing.

" Janganlah berubah kerana dunia semata-mata kerana ianya tidak akan memberi sebarang kebaikan dan manfaatnya kepada kamu tapi berubahlah kerana Allah S.W.T bagi meraih cinta dan redha Allah."

enough said.thanks readers :)
